I have been working in the pharmaceutical industry for 10 years. I started my career as a data manager, but soon discovered I had a flair for medical writing and made the switch to full time medical writing in 2000.

I have benefited from having the experience of working for a clinical research organisation, a pharmaceutical company and a medical communications agency. I have worked with teams in Europe, America and Japan. During this time I was also responsible for mentoring junior medical writers.

I have a first degree in biology and a masters degree in science. I have also received extensive industry training in house and through the European Medical Writers Association and the Institute of Clinical Research.
